Janus Worldwide is delighted to announce that it has been ranked among the 75 largest LSPs in the Nimdzi 100 Ranking. The ranking was prepared by Nimdzi, a company that specializes in localization and language services market research and provides consulting services to market players. Companies are rated based on prior-year profits. Janus Worldwide came in at number 62 with profits of USD 20 million.
The Nimdzi ranking included companies whose profits in the last fiscal year amounted to at least USD 10 million, with profits from linguistic services accounting for at least 50% of this number. The ranking’s authors categorize a wide spectrum of services as “linguistic services,” such as translation, transcreation, multilingual desktop publishing, quality control, linguistic testing, multilingual copywriting, interpreting, remote video interpreting, multimedia localization, dubbing, linguistic consulting, and others. Janus Worldwide offers these and many more services, providing comprehensive assistance to corporate clients to enable them to successfully launch their products in regional and global markets.
According to the Nimdzi study, the language services market is worth approximately USD 50 billion. By the end of 2022, the market is forecast to grow to USD 66.53 billion. The market remains fragmented despite a clear trend toward consolidation among industry participants: the top 100 Nimdzi companies occupy only 15.6% of the global linguistic services market. It is expected that the average market growth rate over the next five years will be 7.4%. Some rated companies are growing through mergers and acquisitions, and others are experiencing organic growth, which can be driven by any number of factors, from signing a large contract to developing sales teams and customer service.
